With the use of an USS an additional line power supply can be attained for S₀(ISDN 2 /BRI) Interfaces

Frequently it happens that the switch does not supply enough power or even no power which may be required on the S₀ (ISDN 2 / BRI) Interfaces.

With the use of an USS the existing S₀ (ISDN 2 / BRI) Interfaces can be supplied with 2 Watts of power.
